well, i like it to be perfectly honest.
[skill]Distracting Shot[/skill][skill]Spoil Victor[/skill][skill]Blood Drinker[/skill][skill]Vampiric Gaze[/skill][skill]Parasitic Bond[/skill][skill]Signet of Lost Souls[/skill][skill]Strip Enchantment[/skill]
i've been using that with BotA in for Vamp Gaze, but Angie's can now pay for Vamp Gaze spam.
i like that, but now i'm thinking about Angie's gaze being used as a "free energy button." not like necros need one, really.
what's everyone else got to say?

Distracting Shot is just there for the interrupt - i was turned on to it by someone who's name slips my mind atm, but with a bow swap set it's a very powerful, versatile interrupt.

Hmph... Well at least it will make it easier to vanquish areas with Arragodons.
I think ?/N is benefited more by this and any spiking power blood had is gone yet again.
And why not use feast of corruption to acquire conditions? A little team support can't be misplaced.

Yay, time to rework that Mesmer build that used Angorodon's once. It may be viable again now

Hi. The OP made a post about a new build synergy with the new Angorodon's gaze. If you're going to QQ make your own thread. (You guys know who I'm referring to)

I can't really bring myself to like a skill that's an inferior copy of glowing gaze given to a class that already has an entire attribute dedicated to e-management. At best this skill could provide e-management for secondary-abusers like mesmers and touch rangers.

Probably NOT, since it used to be part of a mesmer build that could kill anything in seconds, just after the release of Eye of the North.
That said, it still doesn't work; other skills probably got changed too and I never noticed. Oh well, I put together an awesome IW build while I was at it.

Necromancers needed in-class energy management that was dependable in pvp. Soul reaping rocks, but is far too conditional. So, skills like these are hopefully going to allow them to be more useful in GvG's. Now, if only it was in a useful line. :P

Inspiration is a really, really bad line. Mostly you spec there because you have to, not because you want to. The possibility of dropping inspiration altogether for e-management in your offensive line (nevermind why you chose blood magic as your offensive line...) is inherently appealing. Now, looking at the fact that's it's only a net gain of 2 at 12 blood magic leaves me doubting it can really cover a Me/N's energy needs. But that's still the best use I can think of for this skill in its current state.

well...it's more of an e-management tool now...but it's in line with the trend in turning blood magic skills, and necros in general into better support tools and more viable in pvp.
seems nice, I'll take it

They're giving necs e-management in a line full of bad skills. What do you plan on doing with that energy? I'm talkin about high-end pvp of course. For everything else, the req on SoLS is usually easy to meet so Angorodon's becomes abit inferior if you just want the energy. The damage is much too low to be threatening.
This basically is like Glowing Glaze. The big difference is that a fire ele would make good use out of the energy, unlike a blood nec.
I still think some direct damage blood spells should take on hex form to prevent spiking. Anet did good at killing Ritspike - they changed the spells so the damage wasn't lowered, but they couldnt stack either. Look at Spirit Burn, Ancestor's Rage. A basic blood damage spell could be a hex like: Target takes 30 dmg, for 5 seconds that foe loses xxx Health each second. Then possibly add some kind of end effect.......Just an example.
